About Nancy Morrison
**THINK PINK! It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 50% of sales generated from my Think Pink gallery will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.**
Who am I? Technically speaking, I'm a veterinary nurse with a keen and creative eye. I'm relatively new to the photography world and admittedly, still learning. I started to dabble with my Canon whilst in Hawaii and have since moved to my Nikon named "Dee". My first passion was night photography, light trails and fireworks. Now I am finding beauty in the ugly, interest in plain and look for the unusual in the norm.
What inspires me? Call me cheesy, but I'm inspired by the world and what it has to offer. I get a thrill every time I'm able to photograph a wave, sunset or a wild animal. My heart was racing the day I shot an avalanche; not because the snow was thundering down but because I was there to capture it.
Where will you find me? When I'm not behind the lens in some remote location, I'm writing for my travel blog. There is always a story that goes along with my photos. My blog is still in it's infancy, however more images can be found at http://www.nancyunderthestars.com.
Why am I here? As Will Shakespeare said, "It's not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves".
